A female-led production team creating film, television, theatre, and mixed media!
Born out of the COVID-19 Quarantine, Gabrielle and Sian decided to make their long-awaited dream come true and create a production collective together. Their wish is to produce work that pushes the boundaries of storytelling and inspires viewers to experience the spectacular and broaden their minds to the unknown!
The two women's friendship first started in the theatre department of UCSB, where they acted in the Naked Shake's production of A Midsummer Night's Dream. Sian and Gabrielle both instantly bonded due to their shared love for theatre, film, and Quentin Tarantino. Sian went on to direct Gabrielle in 5 theatre productions throughout their time at UCSB. The two women swore one day they would work on a film together... And now that oath is finally being realized.
Gabrielle Korte is an actress, filmmaker, and writer who graduated from the University of California, Santa Barbara with a BFA in Acting. Over the last few years, she has been working professionally in Los Angeles, acting in various film, television, and theatre productions. In 2019, she made her directional debut with her short film "Late Night Snack", a dark comedy revolving around a confession made on Halloween night, and quickly realized how much she loved the production and technical process of filmmaking! The short film, which she also acted in and produced, was a life-changing moment for her and has given her the courage to step out as a leader, bringing to life the projects she’s always dreamed of making. Gabrielle has also gone on to write, act, and produce the one-person show “La Generale", the story of a high-power businesswoman's crippling obsession with a celebrated historic figure, which she is currently developing to be made into a feature film. Her hope is to create films that inspire the world to become a better place by igniting courage, compassion, and love with powerful storytelling.
Sian is a director, filmmaker, and writer who graduated from the University of California, Santa Barbara with a BA in Theatre Arts with an emphasis in Direction and Playwrighting. She has produced and directed over 20 productions, and recently she directed the production of “In His Hands” Nominated for a Broadway World “Best All-Around play” award in 2017. Sian is also recognized for the verbatim theatre piece in “In Their Shoes”, she wrote, directed, and produced about the struggles of being part of a single-parent family.
